book, books, and more books

on February 6, 2013

i love to read and most years i make the same “resolution” to read more. some years i stick to it & read a good number of books, some years i don’t. this year i’ve decided, yet again, to read more books…and not just in the genre that i always choose, i’ve decided to expand my horizons & read books i wouldn’t normally choose. so it should be fun & will definitely be interesting!

the hardest part for me will be actually sticking to just one book at a time…seeing as i’m currently skipping between 2 books on my kindle & i’ve just stopped by the library to check out 2 more & i just purchased 2 others, that one-book-at-a-time thing is going to be hard! but, i’m nothing if not determined & resourceful so i think i can totally handle juggling 6 books at once. actually, it’s more like 4 since i’m trying to save the purchased books for our Easter trip to St. Croix (which is 48 days away!) and since 4 is less than 6…it’ll be easy-peasy :)!

so, with all the reading & crafting & cleaning & cooking & just general every day stuff that i need to do, i’m going to keep this short & end now so that i can get my read on! but, before i go…here’s a pic of me & my favorite author, taken last week at the luncheon on Pawley’s Island where she was the guest author! i was ssssoooo stinkin’ excited…you can kinda tell that from the big ‘ol grin on my face! enjoy!
